Your Accommodation
Our Guests’ bedroom is situated in the grounds of Pool House adjoining what used to be stables, but which now have been converted into garaging. The bedroom has a king-size double bed with duvet, colour television, radio, magazines, books, hairdryer, hair tongs and Carmen rollers, a large selection of teas, coffees, beverages and biscuits. It has an entrance lobby with small fridge containing fresh milk and bottled water.
The bathroom has an electric shower and WC, a large selection of toiletries, fluffy towels and bath sheets, and “his and hers” bathrobes.
There is a comprehensive information pack, containing places of interest in the surrounding area. There is also an “eating out” information pack with a selection of local hostelries, together with sample menus and written directions from Pool House.
There is private car-parking, and a secure lock-up facility for bikes, fishing tackle etc.
Breakfast is served up at Pool House between 7.30am and 9.30am, or in summer, weather permitting, on the patio. A comprehensive menu is offered using locally produced, and home grown produce, including eggs from our hens, and fruit and tomatoes from the garden when in season. Sausages and smoked bacon are from Mr Tudge’s farm. All our jams and marmalades are home-made as are our bottled fruits. When in season, fresh raspberries and tayberries from our garden are offered.
